Family Quest eBook
Family Quest eBook serves as a guide to fitness through fun outdoor adventure while providing ways to bring family closer to each other and to the Creator of our bodies and the world we get to explore. Families of all varieties can find motivation in these pages—whether you are a parent of preschoolers or teens, a single person seeking fun ways to connect with siblings, or an empty nester. The idea is to move; to move our bodies and allow that momentum to carry into all aspects of our lives. And sometimes we just need a little inspiration—a trail guide or map to get us moving, ideas and milestones to track, and help defining the why.
This 60-page guide is formatted to follow a monthly schedule, but it can be used in whatever way works best for your family. While it is largely based on the public lands, activities, experiences, and weather of Virginia, the ideas can be tailored to fit the landscape of wherever you call home. And I love a good goal-oriented list, but please use this guide loosely. It may be a quest, but remember that it’s in the journey, no matter how smooth or rough, where growth thrives.
